Salice Concealed Hinges
Salice Concealed Hinges
Designed and made in Italy, Salice hinges offer a solution for any application. The 200 series covers standard and crampon, plus special angles with full overlay, half overlay and inset options. Side adjustability provides market leading flexibility from -1.5 to +4.5mm. Salice's 700 Silentia series also provides a wide range, with the addition of integrated bumper-less soft close. Series 100 offers soft close on 105° full overlay range.
Why choose Salice over other brands? Here's 3 key reasons:
1. STREAMLINED - Salice’s soft close mechanism is in the bowl of the hinge, so a streamlined arm is retained, making for a more attractive aesthetic after installation. 2. ONE STEP ADJUSTMENT AFTER INSTALLATION - Salice is the ONLY hinge that retains the 2mm gap between door and cabinet carcass when you adjust the hinge; so adjustment a one-step rather than a multi-step process. 3. EASIER RESTRICTOR CLIP ADDITION - the Salice restrictor clip (to limit door opening) can be added WITHOUT uninstalling the hinge. That makes for a much quicker and easier job.

Why Choose Soft Close Hinges?
Cabinetry is one of the most substantial costs in a new kitchen or kitchen renovation and, sadly, also one of the first things to start showing wear and tear from the rigours of busy families. How can soft close hinges help? They slow down the speed at which cupboard doors close, making the last part of the closing action slow and gentler. Less crashing into cabinet side panels and less force on the doors and hinges extends the life of your cabinets and doors, keeping them looking smarter for longer.
When you're busy, excessive noise can be the last straw. Many kitchens and living areas are doubling as work and study spaces so cabinet doors banging closed can be quite a disruption. Soft close hinges can virtually eliminate that annoying noise.
The investment pays off. We've already covered extending the life of your cabinetry, which in itself makes investing in soft close hinges worthwhile. In addition, savvy buyers look for a kitchen that's in good nick with quality finishing touches so if you're renovating for resale, investing in soft close hinges will both keep your kitchen looking smart and send a message to buyers that your property has been carefully looked after.
Last but by no means least, soft close hinges are simply safer for little ones. Because soft close hinges slow down the last part of the door closing action, there's more time for the kids (or grandkids) to get their fingers out of the way. And, if the door does make contact, its action is slower and gently and the 'ouch' won't be as bad.
