What's the difference between Designer Series and Designer Series 2?

That's an excellent question! Tanova's Designer Series was launched in 2019 and was an instant hit as it's a high performing, stylish range. And the team at Fit would have to admit that they weren't looking to create an entirely new Tanova range in 2020 but ... things happen.

And the thing that happened to prompt the development of Designer Series 2 was that we launched a new premium slimline drawer system - Simlead from King Slide - that was also an instant hit. Simlead drawers offer a technological innovation with 'everactive' push to open, meaning you can push the drawer open a smidgen more when it's already partially open. This is very handy when you approach the drawer with your hands being full, dusty or oily then realise you need the drawer to be open a bit more. With 'everactive' push to open, you can nudge it with your knee or toe and, instead of closing, it will open a litle more. Now ... think about the times you approach the kitchen bin with your hands full of sticky paper towels or a chopping board full of peelings. Yep ... we saw a match made in heaven between Tanova and Simlead's push to open option.
