Domus Line Multiple Sensor Control Systems
Domus Line Multiple Sensor Control Systems
How POLY Works POLY is a multiple sensor electronic control system for LED lighting to allow switching of a common light source by up to three different switches. DOM786 - POLY Electronic Control Module Module The electronic control module, only 18 mm thick, is connected between the power supply and the 12Vdc or 24Vdc lamps and can host up to 3 sensors of the two Domus Line models available: - DOM787 PIR Sensor for DOM786
- DOM788 IR Sensor for DOM786, Including Surface Mount Support
The control module integrates a set-up button with which the 2 different modes can be selected for the IR sensor. This can also be used as a dimmable touch switch. The control module comes with factory set-up for the use of the IR sensor in door switch mode and the PIR motion sensor switch. DOM797 - MINI POLY A multiple sensor electronic control system for LED lighting to allow switching of a common light source by up to 2accommodating IR-1 sensors with end-stroke or ON-OFF and dimmer function, and PIR-1 or PIR-2 motion detection sensors. (Original POLY DOM786 allows for 3.) The control module is supplied with a default set-up for using back-of-door IR-1 (proximity) sensors. Order the control unit (POLY or MINI POLY) then the appropriate sensor for your project. DOM787 - PIR Motion Sensor The PIR sensor for POLY switches on when there is movement inside the detection field and, after about 180 seconds with no movement, automatically switches off the lights connected to the control model, even if the door remains open. DOM788 - IR Back of Door Proximity Sensor or Dimmable Touch Switch The IR sensor for Poly - in limit-switch mode - turns on the lights when the door is opened. With the on-off and dimmer set up, the IR sensors are switched on and off and the brightness of the lights can be adjusted simply by moving a hand near the sensor. Recess installation or surface mount with use of support (included). DOM844 - CLUD - a three channel electronic sensor control system for IR Door sensors

5 Reasons To Choose LED Lighting
LED lights use up to 80% less energy than standard incandescent light bulbs (Electricity in New Zealand, Electricity Authority, 2016) and will last for thousands of hours. This makes LED lights ideal for hard to reach places, where replacing them can be difficult and/or dangerous.
LED lights can last for many thousands of hours. Because they don't need to be replaced as often as other lights, they're great for hard to reach or hard to access places.
LED lights do not suddenly fail, rather they fade over time, and frequent on/off switching does not impact on their lifespan, so they are excellent for busy areas like kitchens.
LED lights generate very little heat so can be recessed into furniture and cabinets or be used to light artwork without damage. They are also safer than traditional lights as they will stay cool to touch even after several hours of usage.
LED lights have a robust design, making them far sturdier and more durable than traditional light bulbs. Since LEDs don’t use fragile components such as glass and filaments, LEDs are able to withstand shock, vibration and extreme temperature.
